i just heard from Matt Ewen that Ron Davis passed away…this is really very sad…Ron seemed to be doing great last time i saw him at the reunion…does anyone know what happened?

not sure if you ballers have been following the news surrounding IBM’s Jeopardy playing AI – Watson…it is currently dominating the human champion Ken Jennings, at the end of day one of a three day tournament…as far as i’m concerned the real question is: can it do my homework?

Has anyone heard talk about plans for a 10th anniversary re-union for the charter class of ’01? (Scary, it’s been a decade now…)

For those of you with Blu-ray players, you might be interested in the following service. You can trade in any DVD and buy a Blu-ray for $4.95. You have to choose from the list of about 100 available Blu-rays, but you can send in any DVD. So for example, go to Goodwill and buy whatever DVD they have on the shelf for 50 cents, then send it in and get a Blu-ray of your choice for $4.95. I just did this myself and got 8 Blu-rays for $40.
